Day 1

Travel on the Glacier Discovery Train from Anchorage to Whittier, along the magnificent Turnagain Arm with views of Glaciers and Tidal Flats. Keep your eyes open for Alaskan wildlife and waterfowl. Once you arrive in Whittier you will board the Alaska Marine Highway for a cruise across Prince William Sound to the Port of Valdez, over night in Valdez at one of the area hotels.

Day 2

Join Captain Fred Rodolf on board the Lu-Lu Belle, as he takes you though the Price William Sound to the mighty Columbia Glacier, the second-largest tidewater glacier in the North America. Experience the rapid calving of a glacier in retreat. Keep your eyes open for Humpback, Orca, Minke, and Gray whales. Prince William Sound is a sanctuary to endless species of marine and other wildlife, including bald eagles. Not many places in the world can claim such natural beauty. Over Night in Valdez at one of the area hotels.

Day 3

Travel on the Alaska Marine Highway back to Whittier then board the Alaska railroad for your trip back to Anchorage where you tour concludes.

Package includes cabin with bath and window on the ferry. Meals on the ferries are cafeteria style and not included. Price can vary slightly with season and availability. Vehicles can be added to the package. For those driving on to Anchorage or Fairbanks the fare will be adjusted. Vehicle prices are based on length and width. Ask us for details.
