The 8-Day Glacier Bay National Park Adventure

Alaska's Inside Passage & Glacier Bay National Park Tour
Bellingham Washington to Skagway Alaska is all about the breathtaking natural beauty of Southeast Alaska. Cruise through narrow channels, with mountains rising at near vertical from the water's edge, see waterfalls, whales, bald eagles, sea lions, fjords, and awesome blue glaciers.

Friday evening departures from Bellingham Washington.

Ports of Call: Bellingham, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park, Haines, Skagway.

Day 1    Depart Bellingham’s Fairhaven Terminal at 6:00pm

Day 2    Cruise through the Queen Charlotte Islands and the famous Inside Passage.

Day 3    A shore-side stop over in Ketchikan, Wrangell & Petersburg Alaska.

Day 4    Juneau Overnight downtown lodging included.

Day 5    Glacier Bay National Park
Air taxi from Juneau to Gustavus a fascinating half-hour flight over snow-capped mountains and ice fields, overnight lodging included.

Day 6    Glacier Bay Cruise
8- hours with full view windows, often accompanied by a Park Service Ranger/cultural interpreter. Lunch Included.

Observe humpback and orca whales, stellar sea lions, and sea otters.
See chunks of ice as "big as the governor's mansion" peel off the glacier sounding like fire crackers shattering on impact with the bay's surface.Air Taxi provided back to Juneau after the cruise with lodging.

Day 7   Ferry Juneau to Skagway – Overnight Included
Skagway, top of the Inside Passage, known as the staging area for 20,000 prospectors during the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush, the era's history in this town is well preserved, fun, and home of  the White Pass Yukon Narrow Gage Railroad.


Day 8    White Pass & Yukon Railroad Summit Excursion
The tour is fully narrated and features two tunnels, sky-high trestles, cascading waterfalls, historic sites and spectacular scenery.
Climb from tidewater at Skagway to the summit of the White Pass, 2,865 feet in elevation! Daily Ferries are available back to Juneau for a flight home. Tour Concludes in Skagway.


 

 





 
8- Day Glacier Bay Tour

$1,510.00 per person

Package includes cabin with bath and window on the ferry, meals on the ferries are cafeteria style and not included. Price can vary slightly with season and availability. Vehicles can be added to the package for those driving on to Anchorage or Fairbanks fare will be adjusted. Vehicle prices are based on length and width. Ask us for details.
