July 30-Friday - Day 1 Bellingham WA
This trip begins at the southern-most port for Alaska's Marine Highway in Bellingham Washington. Departure at 6:00PM on the Alaska State Ferry star ship M/V Columbia.
July 31-Saturday - Day 2
Cruising north through the Strait of Juan de Fuca through smooth Canadian waters into the Inside Passage. One of the most scenic, sheltered waterways in the world.

Aug 1-Sunday - Day 3
Ketchikan - Wrangell - Petersburg -Ports of Call
Massive snow-topped peaks and evergreen forest-clad islands drift by the ship, as you make an early morning stop in the picturesque waterfront town of Ketchikan, a mid-day stop in Wrangell, and a early evening stop in Petersburg. Stops will vary from 1 - 3 hours. You are welcome to disembark for gift shopping and photo opportunities.
Aug 2-Monday - Day 4
Juneau - Haines - Skagway - Ports of Call
The morning greets you with a stop in Juneau Alaska's colorful capital city, and with awe-inspiring views of Lynn Canal, as you cruise towards Skagway, the jumping off point at the top of the Inside Passage.
Skagway - Afternoon Arrival & Hotel
White Pass Yukon Route Summit Excursion
- 4:30PM/ 2-Hours
The narrow gauge railroad climbs 2,865 ft to the White Pass Summit. Breathtaking panorama of mountains, glaciers, gorges, and waterfalls. Built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush.
 
Aug 3-Tuesday - Day 5
Skagway to Haines Junction YT (208 miles)
Prepare for a long steep climb up over the White Pass, the highway is fairly wide and kept in good condition. You will connect with the Alaskan Highway in Whitehorse, and overnight on the eastern boundary of the Kluane National Park and Reserve in Haines Junction.
Aug 4-Wednesday - Day 6
Haines Junction to Beaver Creek (184 miles)
Twenty miles from the Canada-US International Border, Beaver Creek hosts a post office, bank, library, gas, and a few good restaurants.
Aug 5-Thursday - Day 7
Beaver Creek YT to TOK AK (146 miles)
Remote, rugged, and breathtaking beauty is the only way to describe the scenery as you travel back across the Canadian border into Alaska's Interior.

TOK to Fairbanks (206 miles)
The drive from Tok to Fairbanks represents what Alaska is truly about, wondrous landscapes and rugged topography along this scenic drive.

Riverboat Discovery Cruise
A cruise aboard the stern wheeler riverboat on the Chena & Tanana rivers. The tour includes a guided walking tour of an Athabascan Indian village and a stop to see Susan Butcher's champion Iditarod sled dogs inaction.
Aug 8-Sunday - Day 10
Fairbanks to Denali National Park (125 miles)
Six million acres of incredible beauty surrounding North America's highest mountain 20,320 ft. Mt. McKinley. The in-park tours will astound you with the number of animals that roam the park freely - Moose, caribou, Dall sheep, grizzly bears and wolves are often seen along the 94-mile park road to Wonder Lake.

The day is free to explore the park or to participate in an in-park tour or program offered by the National Park Service.
Aug 10-Tuesday - Day 12
Denali to Talkeetna (153 miles)
Old-Time small town Alaska, it is an aviation supply base for Mt. McKinley climbing expeditions.
Aug 11-Wednesday - Day 13
Talkeetna to Whittier (173 miles)
A early morning drive from Talkeetna to Anchorage connecting to the Seward Highway. One of the most scenic by-ways in the state, the Seward Highway follows the north shore of Turnagain Arm through the Chugach State Park Turning west at Portage through the 2-1/2 mile Anton Memorial Toll Tunnel, you will board the Alaska State Ferry in the Pr. William Sound community of Whittier.

Yakutat - Port of Call
Cutting eastward across the great angle of the Gulf of Alaska passing by the coastline of the sea-washed Fairweather and St. Elias Ranges, you will make a whistle stop in the native village of Yakutat.
Aug 13-Friday - Day 15
Mid-day arrival in Juneau, capital city of Alaska, inaccessible by road and surrounded by snow capped peaks and glaciers.
Aug 14-Saturday - Day 16
Tracy Arms Glacier Cruise
The Tracy Arm Fjords granite cliffs rise thousands of feet above the sea-level with slender waterfalls and ice burgs of brilliant blue that bob in the waters of the fjords. The twin Sawyer Glaciers of the Tracy Arms are two enormous rivers of ice emptying into the sea.

Aug 15-Sunday - Day 17
Free day to explore-A drive to the Mendenhall Glacier or The Shrine of St. Therese is a must while in Juneau. Lots of roads to explore and many downtown activities are available such as the State Museum, tour the Capitol, or take the Mt. Roberts Tram to the top of the
Gastineau
Channel.

Juneau to Sitka
8:00AM Departure on the M/V Fairweather - Arrival 12:30PM
The "Paris of the Pacific" Sitka is a blend of Russian, native, and pioneer cultures. You may want to visit the St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Church, the Baranof Museum or the Sitka National Historical Park.
Aug 17-Tuesday - Day 19
Re-board the M/V Columbia for an early afternoon Southbound cruise back down the Inside Passage cruising through the beautiful Wrangell Narrows.
Aug 18-Wednesday - Day 20
Petersburg - Wrangell - Ketchikan Ports of Call
Just prior to lunch time the Columbia pulls into Ketchikan, your last port of call with a 5-hour layover, you will have time to visit the famous Creek Street (once the Red Light District) or experience the Zip Line tour or a stroll through Totem Park.
Aug 19-Thursday - Day 21 At Sea

The El-Dorado Gold Mine
A trip through Alaska's gold mining history. Ride the Tanana Valley Railroad for an adventure into the gold fields of the Interior. A two-hour guided tour of a mining camp. Meet and talk with Alaska miners as you learn about present day placer mining methods. After a short course in gold mining, grab your own "poke" filled with pay dirt right out of a sluice box and try your hand at panning for gold. Cost $ 35.00 per person

Denali National Park - The Denali Backcountry Adventure
Go beyond the standard park tour and travel deep inside Denali National Park to Kantishna. A full-day narrated bus trip that explores the entire 95-mile restricted Denali Park Road. This trip gives you the opportunity to see bears, moose, caribou, sheep, and many photo opportunities along the way. Buffet lunch is included at the exclusive Backcountry Lodge. 6:30AM - 7:30PM

Wilderness Jet Boat Adventure - 2-hours
Glass-domed river jet boat - As you travel ten miles of river you will have opportunities to view nesting bald eagles, beaver activity, and moose and you just might see black bear and grizzly bear roaming the shore.

Juneau
Glacier Bay National Park
Air charter service from Juneau to Gustavus - this is a fascinating half-hour flight over snow-capped mountains and ice fields.
The Glacier Bay Cruise is 8-hours, and accompanied by a Park Service Ranger/cultural interpreter. 6:00AM departure from the Juneau Airport - transfers from the airport to the Lodge in Gustavus, plus the cruise & lunch. Arrival back in Juneau around 6:30PM.
