Day 1

Board the Coastal Classic train and enjoy the relaxing ride along magnificent Turnagain Arm with views of glaciers and tidal flats. Keep your eyes open for Alaskan wildlife and waterfowl. Once you arrive in Seward you will board a Kenai Fjords Tour boat to take in beautiful Resurrection Bay. First you will stop at the exclusive Fox Island Lodge for a one-of-a-kind adventure. Start with a grilled wild Alaska salmon dinner. Watch a presentation by a National Park Ranger and explore the "skipping stone" beach before cruising Resurrection Bay! Learn about the rich history of Resurrection Bay while viewing the jagged cliffs, seabirds, marine wildlife and alpine glaciers. Overnight in Seward at one of the area hotels or upgrade your tour to include an overnight at the Fox Island Resort.

Day 2

Visit Exit Glacier on your own and touch a real glacier in the morning. Then explore the town of Seward and possibly visit the Alaska Sealife center before reboarding the Coastal Classic train back to Anchorage where your tour concludes.

Package includes cabin with bath and window on the ferry, meals on the ferries are cafeteria style and not included. Price can vary slightly with season and availability. Vehicles can be added to the package for those driving on to Anchorage or Fairbanks fare will be adjusted. Vehicle prices are based on length and width. Ask us for details.
