The Best of the Great North Adventures- Visit all of the Inside Passage's most popular towns: Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau, and Skagway. Includes a stop at Glacier Bay National Park. The tour continues north from Skagway to Whitehorse in the Yukon to Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and Anchorage, for one exciting adventure after another.
Passport Required

Day 1 Depart Prince Rupert, BC or Ketchikan, Alaska on the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry. Cabin Accommodations included on the ferry.

Day 2 Wrangell & Petersburg - A short stop in each port for passenger and vehicle loading, 1-3 hours port time. You are welcome to get off the ship and sightsee while in port.

Day 3 Juneau Stop - Capital of Alaska--a fun and beautiful place to stop on the Inside Passage. Overnight downtown lodging included.

Day 4 Glacier Bay Nationl Park Flight-see charter from Juneau to Gustavus, a fascinating half-hour flight around steep snow-capped mountains and ice fields. Lodging included.

Day 5 Glacier Bay Adventure Cruise Observe humpback and orca whales, stellar sea lions, and sea otters.... See chunks of ice as "big as the governor's mansion" peel off the glacier sounding like fire crackers as they shatter on impact with the bay's surface. This 8-hour cruise offers full view windows and is often accompanied by a park service ranger/cultural interpreter. Lunch is included. Evening flight back to Juneau and overnight lodging included.

Day 6 Skagway This is the top of the Inside Passage, known as the staging area for 20,000 prospectors during the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush. The era's history in this town is well preserved, fun, and offers something exciting to do for everyone.
Overnight included.

Day 7 White Pass & Yukon Railroad to Whitehorse
The 3-hour tour is fully narrated and features two tunnels, sky-high trestles, cascading waterfalls, historic sites, and spectacular scenery. Overnight included

Day 8 Whitehorse Yukon to Fairbanks Depart Whitehorse early in the morning on a van shuttle-bus in route to the Alaskan border. A stop for lunch, and a van shuttle transfer in Tok, arriving in Fairbanks in the early evening. Overnight included

Day 9 Denali Star Train from Fairbanks to Denali
Departs-Fairbanks 8:15am Arrives-Denali 12:15pm. Transportation provided from the train depot to the Denali Cabins. Overnight included

Day 10 Denali Backcountry Adventure
This trip into Denali National Park travels the entire length of the restricted 95-mile Denali Park Road to Kantishna in our private bus. There is a continental breakfast served starting at 5:30 and the trip departs Denali Cabins at 6:10 am, returns at about 7:30 pm. Lunch is served at the Backcountry Lodge. Overnight included at the Cabins.

Denali Star Train - Denali to Anchorage
Departs-Denali 12:15pm Arrives-Anchorage 8:00pm

Tour Concludes - Flights to the Lower 48 states depart Anchorage around Midnight, or an overnight in Anchorage can be added at your request.

Additional stops and activities can be added at any port of call along the way - price will be adjusted accordingly.
