Explore the vast lands of British Columbia, Yukon, & Alaska

The Best of the Great North Adventures- Visit all of the Inside Passage's most popular towns Ketchikan,Wrangell, Petersburg, Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park and Skagway. Continue North to Whitehorse, Fairbanks, Denali Park, and Anchorage for one exciting adventure after another.

Day 1 Depart Prince Rupert BC or Ketchikan, Alaska on the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry. Cabin Accommodations included.

Day 2 Wrangell & Petersburg -A short stop in each port for passenger and vehicle loading and will vary 1-3 hours. You are welcome to get off the ship and sightsee while in port.

Day 3 Juneau Stop - Capital of Alaska, a fun and beautiful place to stop on the Inside Passage. Overnight downtown lodging included.

Day 4 Glacier Bay Nation Park Flight see charter from Juneau to Gustavus a fascinating half-hour flight around steep snow-capped mountain and ice fields. Lodging included.

Day 5 Glacier Bay Adventure Cruise Observe humpback and orca whales, stellar sea lions, and sea otters.... see chunks of ice as "big as the governor's mansion" peel off the glacier, sounding like fire crackers, then shatter on impact with the bay's surface. 8-hour cruise with full view windows, often accompanied by a Park Service Ranger/cultural Interpreter. Lunch is included. Evening flight back to Juneau and overnight.

Day 6 Skagway Stop Top of the Inside Passage, known as the staging area for 20,000 prospectors during the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush, the era's history in this town, is well preserved, fun, and offers something exciting to do for everyone. Overnight Included

Day 7 White Pass & Yukon Railroad to Whitehorse
The tour is fully narrated and features two tunnels, sky-high trestles, cascading waterfalls, historic sites and spectacular scenery. Overnight

Day 8 Whitehorse Yukon to Fairbanks Depart Whitehorse early morning on a comfortable motor coach. Travel west from Whitehorse to the Alaskan border. Mid afternoon you will have a stop in Tok Alaska where you will switch motor coaches and continue to Fairbanks for a early evening arrival. Overnight Included

Day 9 Denali Star Train from Fairbanks to Denali
Departs 8:15 am Arrives 12:15 pm. Overnight at the Denali Cabins

Day 10 Denali Backcountry Adventure
This trip into Denali National Park travels the entire length of the restricted 95-mile Denali Park Road to Kantishna in our private bus. There is a continental breakfast served starting at 5:30 and the trip departs Denali Cabins at 6:10 am, returns at about 7:30 pm. Lunch is served at the Backcountry Lodge. Overnight Included at the Cabins

Denali Star Train - Denali to Anchorage
Departs Denali 12:15pm - Arrives Anchorage 8:00pm
Tours Concludes - Flights to the Lower 48 states depart Anchorage around Midnight. or an overnight in Anchorage can be added per your request.

Options while on your Tour:
Additional days can be added at any location. Additional activities such as the El Dorado Gold Mine or The River Boat Discovery can be added in Fairbanks. Rafting, Flight seeing, Horseback Riding or Jeep Safari, can be added in Denali National Park. The Alaska Railroad can be up-graded to the First Class Glass Dome Car Seating- Ask for details.

Package includes cabin with bath and window on the ferry, meals on the ferries are cafeteria style and not included. Price can vary slightly with season and availability. Vehicles can be added to the package for those driving on to Anchorage or Fairbanks fare will be adjusted. Vehicle prices are based on length and width. Ask us for details.
